My daughter and I enjoyed a fun girl’s weekend in Minneapolis recently and I thought I could share our fabulous 24-hour getaway.

We stayed at the Hilton downtown and got upgraded to a Junior suite, which was lovely. That night we dressed up and walked to Seven Sushi Bar and Steakhouse to try sushi for the first time. Our waitress Bridgette helped us choose from the menu and she didn’t disappoint. We chose the firecracker, with mango salsa which was fabulous. She also treated us to an entertaining Banana’s Foster dessert.
We went back to the hotel to enjoy a movie in our suite. Very fun!

The next day, we had appointments at the AVEDA salon school downtown and were treated to manicures, pedicures and facials! The facials were relaxing and we learned a lot about our skin needs.
All in all, a fabulous 24-hour getaway!
