Feeling the spirit of giving? My 10-year-old served as a Salvation Army bell-ringer for the first time this year, and next week our Bookworm Wednesday crew will help to sort toys for the Secret Santa love baskets as well.
Opportunities abound during the holiday season, so if you’re looking for ways to give, please visit 5 Minutes for Mom. This month’s Positively Speaking column is chock-full of ideas to get your whole family in the mood for charity.

Great for the Bookworms to be helping out at Christmas. Many hands make light work!

I love the idea of getting the kids involved in charity projects this time of year! That is a great picture. My kids are 12 and 14 so this kind of thing can have a big impact on them. Enjoyed your blog today! Loved the facebook contract. My daughter turns 13 in May, I will have to check into it. My son already has an account. But I monitor it pretty regularly. He must not change his password and let us check it out anytime.
