Who could know that a pudgy little tot like this could turn into a lanky basketball player whose growth rivals that of the fabled beanstalk?
My baby is growing up, and while he’s still very much child, I witness glimpses of maturity when I see him in his classroom and he doesn’t know I’m watching.
And it touches my heart when he gives Dad his pocket change to put in the McDonalds charity drive-through bucket, or he asks if he can bring an extra snack to school for a boy that never has one.
Happy birthday, 10 Year Old. I’m proud to call you my son.

HEY, I remember HIM! My favorite grandson who is such a help deadheading flowers and dragging a sled-load of weeds around to mulch piles! He’s the one who used to hug my knees and now it’s my ribs (I must be getting shorter). Happy BIRTHDAY Craig, you are much cuter than THIS year’s New Year Baby! Check the mail today or Monday! I.L.Y.

Awww… how come so often when I visit your blog, I end up teary-eyed, Kelly. Somehow, you manage to touch my heart. He IS a wonderful young man and I would be proud of him too. (Does he still sing the Wiener song???)
