Our family will visit Disney in a few weeks. We’re all a little excited about the prospect, and when I came across a disk full of photos from the last time we visited (pre-blogging days in 2005,) I though I really ought to share the fun with you. Here’s the first installment of my Disney World Flashback.
We stayed at Disney All-Star Movie Resort. It was simple accommodations, but relatively inexpensive and very convenient. I can’t imagine visiting Disney World without staying on the property. The shuttles and monorail make the whole stay more manageable.
Our 2:2 parent/child ratio comes in handy in Tomorrowland.
I’m thinking I could use these as our kids begin middle school…
My now fourth-grader celebrated his sixth birthday at Disney World. We, however, did not close the park for his party;) The beauty of visiting Disney World on your birthday is that you get a flashing button that says so, and all day long, well-inserviced Disney workers wish you a happy birthday.
In the next couple of weeks I will share our kids’ two favorite rides. What would you guess their favorites were at ages six and eight??
Disney Flashback Series:
Part One
Part Two - Teacup Ride
Part Three - Buzz Lightyear

I don’t know about THEM, but YOU liked Space Mountain. We both hated the serpentine endless lines. I think I developed an allergy to metal railings in those dreaded lines……….
(Maybe that was Disney LAND, not WORLD, we hit ‘em both)

Wow - those pictures are great! My kids and I were looking back on pictures from Disney earlier, although for us it was only just last year we were there… My Wordless Wednesday is a picture of my youngest at Disney.
Have a wonderful trip!
