Career Expedition Boardgame Giveaway

Shannon at Bloggy Giveaways is hosting a giveaway link-fest, and I’m giving away a Career Expedition boardgame, produced by my company - Empowering Youth, Inc.

Career Expedition is a fun and interactive board game that generates a discussion about career decision-making. The perfect tool for school counselors, teachers, homeschoolers and parents, Career Expedition is the game you will use to encourage youth to discover keys to their personal career planning process.

Players read realistic examples of choices young people make during the career preparation process, as well as cards which guide players through their personal career planning process. It’s ideal for students in 6th-12th grades.

To be included in the drawing, please just click over to the Career Expedition boardgame page on my company site and click on the “sample cards” links next to the photo. Then come back here and tell me which cards you liked the best. You can participate even if you don’t have a blog. Just make sure you leave a working email when you leave your comment. A winner will be chosen at random on Friday, February 1. US and Canada addresses only please. Thanks for participating!

    I think this would be a great game for me and for the kids. I really like the discovery cards where you can hone in on interests and then use that as a spring board to discuss potential careers.

    Wow, what a super looking game! I would love to review it.

    I like the the discovery cards, because it makes the person think! They actually have to think about what they are going to do or what they would like to do as opposed to just going through the motions. I believe it will help them in the future.

    I particularly like the “what would do you for a day…” discovery card. It really is a ’simple’ question, but can reveal a lot about someone personality!

    Hey I liked the interest cards. What a great idea to help kids decide what they want to be based on hobbies or interests. I’m a teacher and this would be perfect for our game day in our classroom. Very challenging & educational. Way to go!

    Definitely the Discovery Cards… as someone who recently lost their job, I need to start asking myself similar questions to help figure out where I should go from here.

    I like the discovery cards. I like the idea of the game asking questions in general. My boys are always asking me questions and it would be fun to turn the tables on them and make them think about things.

    I like the discover cards. You have a great concept in this game as my middle school students only know the general popular careers - doctors, teachers and lawyers.
