If you’ve read my blog for a while, you probably recognize there’s a rhythm that accompanies it. I’ll write for several weeks about something that inspires me, then often post photos for a while, sharing our family adventures. And then there are lulls — when I share mostly previously published material, to give myself a break from the business of blogging, while continuing my 2-3 post-per-week commitment via the WordPress auto-post feature.
These are the weeks my mom affectionately calls, “B-O-R-I-N-G”, when I so appreciate those that stop by to read and comment, even though their comments tend to go unanswered. But I can often promise interesting writing to follow these re-runs. “Boring breaks” typically mean I’ve been on vacation.
Guess where we’ve been? The photo gives you a clue, if you look carefully enough. We were just northwest of where we were last year at about this time.
I promise ad-infinitum details over the coming weeks. It’s good to be back.

Well, now…if I’m not mistaken, D & C spelled it out for us (but I had to look REEEAL closley). Wish I could’ve been at Sanibel Island with you…

Beach envy…snow envy… Sounds like a contradiction, huh? That’s me, I suppose!

Looks like a great time!
I am glad to hear that even the experts at writing and blogging take time off and have “lulls”. I am new to the blogging world and have been working on building my website since about September of ‘07. My focus is on the essentials of family living with an emphasis on family fun nights and the importance of spending quality family time together.
I am excited to have found your blog and look forward to learning from you!
