This is the bridge to the boardwalk that takes beach-goers to Cape Cod in Sandwich. The swamp had drainage ditches throughout, and the canal filled during high tide. We watched kids here using chicken legs as bait for crabs.

We watched crabbers using chicken as bait when we were in Delaware a few years back. I’d rather eat the chicken, I think.
Are they trying to leave this as natural as possible (you mentioned drainage ditches)

Beautiful pic of the bridge. Reminds me of one on the sand dunes near Pensacola. It´s gone now. Hurricane Ivan wiped it off the face of the earth along with alot of other things in that area.

I’ve never imagined crabbin’ with chicken legs. That must have looked really funny.
