I actually cried the first time she rode the bus for a field trip. With my second daughter it was a different story. I was asking WHEN the first field trip was. My third daughter isn't old enough to start school yet (she's 2) but I'm working on potty training so she can start pre-school next year. Funny what time and perspective will do to your outlook, isn't it? I felt the same way with my first daughter (who is now 7 and entering second grade).
