When I visited Boston with D, we also drove to Newport, Rhode Island to tour the mansions. They were amazing, HUGE, mansions.

After touring a few, we walked along the “Cliff Walk” to see the mansions from the ocean side, as well as the waves breaking along the shore.

Breathtaking.

I love our country…great pics, Kelly (all of ‘em).
I’ve seen more of it this summer than perhaps I ever have–at one time, anyway.
I’ve missed ya…trying to play a bit of “catch up” today with my favorite bluddies and Fun Monday friends. Yep, a blog binge.

This is a wonderful experience for everybody. There is something so serene about the area, and then you visit the mansions!
I also like to include Truro Synagogue and their cemetery made famous by Longfellow’s poem. The town is also a great place to wander around.
Very nice photo.
