Bed & Breakfast and Country Inns One-Night Giveaway

Shannon at Rocks in my Dryer is hosting a giveaway link-fest, and I thought it was a perfect opportunity to give away the book, Bed & Breakfasts and Country Inns. It’s a great directory of B&B’s throughout the US and Canada, and it includes a certificate for ONE FREE NIGHT (buy one night/get one night) at any participating inns. The certificate is good through December 31, 2007.

I’ve used this book several times — twice in the Chesapeake Bay area, and twice in the Boston area. I write about my most recent stay at On Cranberry Pond in Middleboro, Massachusetts.

The book is a great deal. I’ve purchased mine on Amazon for about $15 each. Each book is good for only one free stay, and many inns have major restrictions about when you can use the certificate. Some won’t allow you to stay in the least expensive room. But if you’re flexible at all about your schedule, and can visit during a shoulder season or midweek, it’s a really great way to stay at nice B&B’s.

I’m giving away one of these books, including the ONE FREE NIGHT (buy one night/get one night) certificate. If you’d like to be considered for the contest, please leave a comment. You can participate even if you don’t have a blog. Just make sure you leave a working email when you leave your comment. I’ll choose the winner at random on Friday, July 27. Oh wow! I want to win this one bad! I just had my first trip to a B&B ever with my husband for our 18th anniversary and I LOVED it! It was only one night though and went by so quickly.
