Thanks for sharing the smiles. I’m up now too.

I had to read all the posts to make sure I was seeing what I thought I was seeing. I didn’t know the name for them but now I do.
And they’re pretty. Unusual but very pretty.

I know what those are.
Phone Company Bells! They used to be up on the telephone poles of yesterday and most of them finally found their way to the ditches and were gathered up by farmers and those who could walk along the roads and find them. I love them. My grandfather used to have a few… but I am not sure who got them after he passed away. I would start my own collection of them if I could. I wish I already had some! I love colored glass. What a creative and lovely way to display them! Tell your mom thanks from another “eye-catcher” lover. My husband calls me the “crow” (because I love all things shiny). He makes cawing noises when I pass by the jewelry area in the mall. He grabs my arm and tells the kids to hurry to whisk me away and get me away from all that shiny stuff. You would think I had a lot of jewelry… but I don’t! I like looking at it, though!
I just can’t see spending money like that. Thrift store bottle glass is a different story!!!

You’re right, Sprittibee! We call them insulators. I love finding them at garage sales. I think it’s too funny your husband calls you the “crow”! What a hoot!
Thanks for stopping by, everyone!
