Well, I didn’t fall off my chair or anything.
Alas, there’s no You Tube link for me to offer you. Apparently, no one else in my near vicinity knows any more than I do about creating such a thing. Sorry! The only link they gave us on the KARE 11 site is here.
But I did capture some photos, with a little help from my “support people” (TV station-speak for husband, and two kids.)

Our first look at the studio.
Bobby Jensen invited us into the studio long before it was our turn, so we had a chance to watch behind the scenes for more than an hour. It was really cool. The atmosphere is totally relaxed, even with several segments airing or preparing at the same time. What a fun place to work.

D and C took their seats in the evening news chairs. I think the wheels are turning…

Belinda Jensen is even more gorgeous in person than on TV. She’s really tall, too. It’s not fair to look that good when you’re nearly seven months pregnant.

Eric Perkins is even more hilarious in person than he is on the air. He was cracking us up in-between each segment.

Yeah, they thought he was totally funny.

This is my 6 1/2-minute brush with fame.

Paris Bennett, former American Idol participant, was on the show promoting her new album. She is scheduled to perform at the Mall of America on Tuesday.

And here are all three of us at the Border’s book signing afterward: Myself, Cynthia Hamond, and Jodi Lynn Severson. My co-contributors are lovely ladies with beautiful stories to share. It was so great to meet them!
So there. Robin says I have 8 1/2 minutes of fame still coming. Hmmmm….
If you haven’t read the ad-infinitum about my Chicken Soup for the Soul: Celebrating Mothers and Daughters story, here it is.
