My daughter turns 10 this year and she's so yo-yo's between as well. She wants so much to be the big kid, but other times finds a way to revert back to get attention on the "younger" side too. You're right about accentuating the positives though...something I need to work on more instead of focusing on her constant shift. I hope to get to my PTT post soon.
