While I wore down the Trackball on my mouse last week, in a final push to meet my first manuscript deadline, the kids made life easy for me by embracing all that our Wisconsin winter has to offer.

They entertained themselves and didn’t squabble, so I had quality quiet time to work.
Next deadline — May 1.
(But, if you read Sunday’s post, you know they probably won’t be on the rink anymore this year…)
Be sure to visit Not a Dress Rehearsal — the spotlight post from last week. Congratulations Mollie! Email me with your snail address and I’ll send you the Assets magnet.

Oh that looks like fun, but I am glad that is not what it looks like here!

Few things are as appreciated by mom is the ability for kids to keep themselves busy playing and doing it quietly! That’s great that they’re supporting you in your efforts. I’m glad that the intuition of mom won out in the discussion of the pond…that’s scary stuff!! I love the way you constantly display making the most of everything in your life – surroundings, talents, kids, etc.
Hugs,
Holly

I can’t imagine being in that much snow. I think I would go into culture shock!

Thanks for the reminder that the simple things our kiddos do should not go unnoticed! WOW!!! Look at that snow!

Wow…I cannot imagine living where you live. That snow…it’s unbelievable. Looks like you’ve been having fun playing with your camera amidst the flurries

Kids just “know” when they NEED to help you out, huh
?
Yes, they do! (Or I remind them;))

Hi, you simply MUST tell the children that the skate blades go at the bottom of their feet and then they stand UP and go…… Of course, I never tried skating on my knees so what do I know. I guess it would make for fewer FALLS to do it their way. Cool!
