Chicken Soup for the Soul: Celebrating Mothers and Daughters was finally released today. The anthology features my story, Ten Thousand Miles in Blue Streak. (I’ve also submitted this story for Scribbit’s Write-Away Contest.)
UPDATED TO ADD: Be sure to click over to the Blue Streak story >HERE< and read comment number 24. My mom commented there, and reminisces. So cool!
From the press release:
“Chicken Soup for the Soul: Celebrating Mothers and Daughters is a salute to our most treasured yet complex bond. In this honest, funny, and powerful compilation of stories by mothers and daughters of all ages and all stages of life, are examinations and recollections of mutual admiration, teenage power struggles, and intimate moments of tenderness, building bridges where walls once were, and support through life’s biggest challenges.
“These heart-warming stories will remind you that, while the relationship shared between a mother and daughter is sometimes mysterious, their love is always treasured.”
THIS WOULD MAKE A FANTASTIC MOTHER’S DAY GIFT!!!
Just sayin’…
(While I don’t receive any future royalties on the sale of this book, I do get a miniscule kickback from Amazon for those purchases initiated through the link below.)
