I spent three “sleeps” with grandma. My favorite part was making a lovely skirt out of some old adult jeans. We sewed and stitched and I learned how to iron on decals. It looked beautiful in the end. I like spending time with Grandma.
Mom’s note: The only thing better than Grandma watching your kid, is Grandma homeschooling your kid;) In addition to this sewing class, she also gave D lessons in music, art and family history (complete with a written report!)

I attended a conference for the past few days to promote Empowering Youth products. Since my mom was going to watch D (C went fishin’ with Papa), I stayed overnight at her house before setting out early to travel to the conference.
