Fourteen days is an unusually long vacation for me — an opportunity that presented itself in the form of an outstanding condo deal on eBay, coupled with a homeschooling experiment that doesn’t keep attendance. It was also a working vacation, as I did a lot of research and writing for my book. Thank you to everyone who has given me excellent leads!! If you have an idea for my book, please share it! It made the AP wires. They were found safe and sound thanks partly thanks to the 18-year-old pizza delivery guy who recognized the man. He's a high school senior who is also battling some serious medical issues. I'll email you the link to the story. He's a teen with Type 1 Diabetes. He started a newsletter for other kids with Diabetes and is writing a book to share experiences with others about what it's like when first diagnosed to try to help kids with Type 1. His email is whenigotdiabetes@aol.com and he's an amazing kid. He also raised money for kids with diabetes in the state of DE so that they would provide Crystal light for lunches instead of plain water. He raised several hundred dollars. Talk to Chase.
