Once upon a time, in a land before homeschooling, there was a mom.
She was a very busy mom with many irons in the volcano. But because she didn’t think she already had enough to do, she became a writer.
She loved to write, and was published in magazines throughout the land.
She decided to try an experiment. She began to homeschool her kids. She loved the experiment, though it was taxing on her time and energy.
One day, a publisher called and said, “Remember that book you proposed nine months ago? We’d like you to write it. Please allow me to introduce you to your editor.”
And so the mom/writer/teacher got a book deal. And she was happy.

You know it! The book isn’t scheduled for release until November, but I assure you there will be discounts galore offered to my fabulous Pass the Torch readers!

Is it any karmic coincidence that it took the publisher nine months to get back to you and tell you your proposal was going to be a book? LOL. I have to say, I love the line “But because she didn’t think she already had enough to do, she became a writer.” How true, how true!
