You raised $500 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. This was our goal, and you did it!

Hello Pamela - I’m not sure. I’ve just always thought it’s such a great charity. And my kids have been blessed with excellent health thus far, so I think it’s a fitting charity for us.
As far as the one comment per blogger? I haven’t decided yet. Let’s see how this goes. For sure a Blogger could comment once per day and each would count. I don’t even know how long to let it go.

The first time my daughter saw a St. Jude’s commercial we heard about it for months. It really impacted her that so many children were suffering from medical illness. I hope you get a gazillion comments!! ;o)

My son is a 15 year childhood cancer survivor. He was diagnosed at age 4 with rhabdomyosarcoma. Research done at St. Judes helped save his life. He will celebrate his 20th birthday next week.

St. Jude’s is an amazing place! They’ll always have a special place in my heart as some dear friends took their little boy there with neuroblastoma. He’s in heaven now and pain free, but their hearts still ache desperately. I’ll gladly comment and contribute in his honor. For you, Daniel. I came over to see what was going on from Wizbang. What you are doing is wonderful! I had a 16 year old cousin who lost her battle with leukemia at St. Jude’s 32 years ago now, but what they learned from her then has allowed many children to beat and survive this terrible disease. Every year, when I get my envelope asking for money, I always put something in. May God continue to bless them, and people like you who continue to get the word out.

3 years ago we were lost in a sea of uncertainity medical terminology that we didn’t understand. St. Judes saved us, and most important helped save our son Braden! It is an AWESOME place! I never had a cranky nurse, or a person that wasnt 100% wonderful!

What a great thing you are doing!! I’m happy to be 493. I love St. Jude’s and hope to also contribute more to them in the future - nothing could be better than taking care of children. St. Jude’s success rates are awesome.

St. Jude is such an amazing charity. My daughter has had a share of health issues and we are blessed with Children’s Hosp. & Regional Med. Center which does some partnership with St. Jude’s (research). Having been a cancer patient as a young woman (19) this charity and it’s mission is so close to my heart.
Blessings to you and to the person who is donating the money - it makes such a difference.

I saw this over on Wizbang, and I want to say thank you very much. I was diagnosed with lymphoma three years ago (when I was 15), and although I never went to St. Jude, I heard a lot about it and met some awesome kids from there. Again, thank you.
