Please remember the Linking for Dollars charity effort my company is sponsoring this week.
I was feeling pretty full of myself after organizing my bean soup jars.
So I thought we’d try doing the same thing with cookie mix, using the recipe on the back of a peanut butter/chocolate chips package. Notice the strict conformity of the ingredients. We should have quit while we were ahead.

We did manage to put together four jars of this very sad-looking mess, and I attached the following tag to the jars:
Nightmare PB Cookies
Poorly-measured mixture of dry ingredients
2 sticks butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 large eggsPreheat oven to 350 degrees F. Dump dry mixture into a large bowl. Add the other ingredients from your stash. Mix it all together, and hope it will look like cookie dough. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 11-13 minutes or until oven explodes.
Pray.
No children were injured during this project. But it was a close call.
I hope you enjoy a wonderful break with family and friends. I’ll be back for Pass the Torch Tuesday, after we dig ourselves out of the snow, and subsequently drown in hot cocoa;).
Until then, Happy Holidays!!

Looks like my children were filling jars at your house. Ha!
Here’s an idea… fill a Ziploc bag with miniature marshmallows and attach a label that says “Snowman Poop.” My kids think it’s hilarious.
Have a good Christmas! And try not to murder Rudolph before the holidays are over. LOL
Oh my GOSH – I am SO doing this…
Thanks!

Now that sounds like my kind of recipe!

someone gave me a receipe for popcorn stuffing for a turkey.
Preheat oven to 350. Stuff turkey with microwave popping corn. Place in oven.
When popcorn blows the bottom off the turkey it is done.
I’ve never tried it. I think it probably would be less successfull than sacks of of snowman poop.
