Nov 29, 2006
My lobes have nearly grown shut from lack of earrings, and it could take me a week to find a belt in my closet.
But I accessorize my camera.
Some of you have asked about my camera. A month ago, I decked out my precious Canon Digital Rebel XT EOS with a pretty new 50mm f/1.8 lens. It was an early Christmas gift to myself (thanks Ree for the tip) and I’ve been snap-happy ever since.
Do yourself a favor – put it on your Christmas list! (You know, the one your rich uncle checks off for you?)

More Love Thursday at Chookooloonks and Love is All Around.
I’m hosting a contest next month, so if you haven’t already, you may want to subscribe to Pass the Torch.

Darn! The hot water heater beat me to the punch. So instead of a new lens for my camera, I can do dishes again!!
Merry Christmas (:
Oh MAN!! Not nearly as fun, but twice as useful;))

And such gorgeous shots they are too! Does the camera take continuous shots when you push the button until you release? This is a feature I could definitely get into big time…LOL Like I need one more thing to get in to!
Hugs,

Yes, ma’am! Thus, THOUSANDS OF PICTURES stored on disk around here;))

I have camera-envy!
HAHAHAHA! It’s one of my few vices;)

Awww, I want one
. Happy Love Thursday!

I have the same camera and LOVE IT! Great shots. I am going to be getting a 75mm-300mm telefoto lens soon. Can’t wait!
Happy Love Thursday!

This is a camera worth the envy! I am working on paying mine off! I love it — but keep my old digital because I fear leaving my Rebel in the car. So, I take pictures with the old one to capture the moment while traveling about and I keep the new one safe. Your photo is great — enjoy the new toy!

I have the same one! I love it! I can’t wait until I actually have time to play with it. I am thinking of upgrading, but haven’t decided just yet. We will see. I am also wanting a wide angle lens. Oh well, want want want. Love the photo by the way. Now if we could just take photos like Ree.
Maybe she will give lessons.

For me this isn’t an I want it….this is an I NEED it!
Capturing all the kids great moments! I don’t want to miss one.
Another good reason, I don’t want to share my husband’s anymore, I NEED my own!! Great shots Kelly!

Thou shalt not covet…Thou shalt not covet…Thou shalt not covet…Thou shalt not covet…
I’m trying to tell myself – but it’s not working!
Hehehehe.

Since I already got a new camera this year, I may have to wait. That photo does look amazing, though!

Lovely. I have a Nikon, but I’ll definately add that lens to my Xmas list–we have a lot of kitties that need glamour shots! Happy Love Thursday!

v. v. v. jealous.
beautiful photo!

My husband has that camera and he won’t let me borrow it! Maybe I should *suggest* he get me one of my own…I’m sure he’d let me borrow it then! Lovely photo.

Leslie took my line :/…We bought a new $400 Olympus camera this summer, and the durn thing is a LEMON!
We’re trying to decide whether to salvage it (pay probably $200 to have it “fixed”???) or get a new one. My husband would probably shoot me before letting me spend that much.
I’d want a macro lens…Ree’s close ups do me in!
btw, I have noticed the quality of your pictures as being above the bar…I just thought it was your photography prowess, not w/help from a cool cam…;)
Thanks sweetie! No, it’s all about the equipment;)
Yes, I’ve considered a macro lens too. That would be way fun!
12:56 pm
Wow, nice camera. I wouldn’t even know where to begin with a camera that fancy.
Thing is, it’s surprisingly simple (which is the only reason I can use it;))
7:18 pm
This camera is definitely on my holiday wish list!

[...] Each full week in December, I’ll give something away, and the contest will probably be different each time. It may be a right or wrong type question, or it might be something that’s judged by my cat. Either way, those of you subscribing to my feed will hear about it first. This is why I’ve been pimping my feeds like an encyclopedia saleswoman. [...]

[...] Since she’ll be helping to judge some of my contests this month, I thought our first question should relate to my 13-year-old calico. [...]
