Sure, the math practice was a little light this week. We completed grammar studies with way-too-fun free madlibs sites referred by Leslie. And the only way we kept on schedule with the challenging Sonlight reading curriculum, was with a four-hour read-aloud marathon the morning most Americans are spending (and saving) hundreds at Christmas sales.
But during D’s piano lesson, after C and I read a chapter of science and finished Scooby Doo book #412, we played catch.
The football kind.
And this 37-year-old flabby and uncoordinated non-athlete of a mother impressed, with the kind of spiral passes that would make any oblivious and loving son proud.
So I know I did something right this week.
And I have the sore arm to prove it.
Have a great weekend everyone!
