***I think D’s assessment of today is very accurate. I’ll follow up with my week in review ASAP***
Today was okay. It definitely wasn’t the best day of home schooling, but it will have its ups and downs. Math was way too easy, which was frustrating, and dictation was long and hard. We played “hot potato subjects & predicates” (lesson in Sonlight). That was fun. I guess decorating my room with thick ribbon made me forget about all the negative things that happened today. I hope Monday will be better. So does Mom.
This week was a swell week. We finished our car mat and will play “hot potato subjects & predicates” often. I got some great dress shoes and had fun with those. I enjoyed learning about human body with Mom and C.
Have a good weekend!

What a neat girl you have.
Thanks Chili - you’re right;) It’s her birthday on Monday, so be sure to check back to see my tribute to her!

Deena
You should have decorated Curt with the ribbon.
Then it would have been like Physical Education - because I’m sure you would have had to chase him around the house to catch him.Pink… yes pink ribbons to decorate him.
(ps. I grew up with F O U R brothers.)

I thought of that but decided not to because he was doing half the work. Deena (P.S. It was purple.)

[…] If you read Deena’s entry on Friday, you know that last week didn’t end on a great note. For a week chocked full of great things, it was really a shame that it ended with stress and frustration. […]
