*********D’S GUEST POST**********
I have just finished reading Midnight for Charlie Bone, which is first in the series.
Charlie Bone has the power to read the thoughts of people in photographs. He lived in a house that contained uncle Panton, Grandma Maisy, Grandma Bone, mom, and him. His dad died when he was two. His friend Benjamin and him visit each other all the time. His three aunts, Venetia, Eustacia and Lucretia, visit often after he gets his power too. He goes to Bloor’s academy and finds many adventures there. His friends, Olivia, Fengolio and Billy, have powers too.
There is a problem, though. Every secret he tells them seems to slip out to a mean boy named Manfred. Which one of his friends is slipping the secret? Will they get through their biggest adventures without anybody ruining it?
I guess you’ll have too read the story to find out.
This is a five-star story.

I think you’re going to have to tell me how it ends.
Unless I can find it for my grandaughter – and have her read it to me.
Well, I guess I could tell you… I don’t want to spoil it though. Well, all right. There is a girl named Emila that has an aunt who is a book store owner. Charlie is good freinds with her. Her sister died long after she had her daughter, Emma. The dad was an inventor. He gets hypnotized my Manfred and hands Emma over to his parents. She gives Charlie a big metal box and a dog that the man had invented. The dog was a recorder. You will have to write to me to find out more.

Thanks again for the book review, Deena. I may have to check this book out at the library and read it with my 9-year-old daughter.
