I see embroidery thread! It’s haunting me.
) One of the classes I teach is called Business Foundations. It is basically an intro course that touches on the other courses we teach. We do a little personal finance, accounting, management, law, economics, marketing, and entrepreneurship. I always end with the entrepreneurship section as it kind of includes all of the above. My students formed companies and then had to design, manufacture, and sell a product. They “buy” their supplies from me. I provide embroidery thread, beads, and rings. They make bracelets, lanyards, and key chains. They learn a lot, and it’s fun. I, however, am surrounded by embroidery thread.
)
What an AWESOME class! You sound like a really great teacher. I bet you’re drowning in embroidery thread during that unit!
Very cool – thanks for sharing!

Okay, Magi found embroidery thread – who’s next?
3:46 pm
I’m trying to remember what was all mentioned – and of course I looked back and can’t find it in your posts.
… but, I don’t remember balloons.
Sorry – I wasn’t very clear in my instructions (I changed them to be a little clearer.) I didn’t mean for you to have to do all that work! This is just a crafty “Where’s Waldo”. Thanks for playing!
Pamela found balloons. Who’s next?
6:58 pm
I see three wooden letters … a K, D, and a buried letter that looks to be an L or a T … or an F?
It looks like it was a TON of fun!!!
8:20 pm
I see paint. Lots of little bottles and lots of lovely colours! Looks like lots of fun to be had.
9:03 pm
It does look like fun, doesn’t it??
Okay Meredith and Red dirt mummy found wooden letters and paint.
Who’s next?
10:14 pm
I see balloons. I love pulling things out of my craft drawer. Great fun, Kelly!
10:15 pm
Pamela all ready found balloons, OK, I see some gold beads.
Thanks for playing, Christine!

We’ll dive into the pile this week. The kids can’t wait! I think we’ll be glad we filled the cart;) Thanks for reading!

Pipecleaners!! I love those things, there are a million crafts to make with them
1:03 am
I see one of the styrofoam block thingys you use to make flower arrangements. At least I think that’s what it is.
7:15 am
Well done Sam and Kailani! It’s getting harder to find what’s left. There are a few things, but they’re pretty buried. Sam – it’s great to see you again! We missed you!
So Kailani and Sam found a floral arrangement block and Pipe cleaners (they’re labeled as “chenille sticks” or something. Can you believe it? I almost didn’t buy them because I was looking for pipe cleaners;)

[...] After gorging our shopping cart on things that glitter and make a mess, we should have plenty of fodder for creative endeavors this week. [...]

Wow! I’d love to spend the time with you at the craft store too. It’s like a kid in a candy store for me. Did anyone mention paint brushes yet? Can’t wait to see what beautiful projects will come out of all of this stuff.
Well done! The paint brushes were really buried. I’m not a shopper, but I have to admit it was LOADS of fun buying all this stuff. I’d asked one lady a question and an hour later she found me two aisles over. She was like, “Are you still here?”
2:02 pm
I see balloons also, but I wanted to share an idea for them. My little ones like to do this, although your kids are a little older than the one I watch and may not think it’s as neat. We fill the balloons with about a cup of water and tie them. Using the tied part as a handle, we dip the bottom of the balloon in paint and then gently bounce them or tap them on paper to make a picture.
Tonya – what a fun idea!!! We’ll try to do that on our play mat this week. Thanks!
2:57 am
I love Tonya’s idea, that would be great to do with my girls! Kelly, thanks for welcoming me back *hugs* I’m glad to be back!
You’re welcome, Sam!

Mom, I’m sorry to say that I’ve never heard of a vomiting craft store. And if it did throw up on the floor, I’m never walking there again. Deena
5:36 am
It looks like fun. Can I come over?
SURE!! Bring some glue;)

Oh, my heart pitter-pattered just then. I seriously LOVE the craft store. I try to go only once a month but like I said, TRY. LOL I always find something to buy and my kids love doing crafts too.
