I love Bloglines, but I notice the readers here are using many I haven’t seen. Firefox Live, Wordpress, My Yahoo, Java-Based.
What do you use to streamline your blog-reading? Why do you like your system?
UPDATE: Kailani and MamaDuck have given me some insight about how my feeds are working. I’ll try to tweak them this weekend and see if I can make them autodiscover (like I actually know what that means.)
Until then, you can use the Bloglines button on my sidebar (or the Feedburner chiclet), even if your bookmarked “sub to bloglines” link says there’s no feed. It’s some bloggy thing I’ll never understand;)
See you tomorrow for Pass the Torch Tuesday!

I LOVE the new Google reader. It’s so much like my Gmail and I really love that aspect.

I didn’t do any research. I just chose bloglines because I saw it ON YOUR SITE! (copy cat)
I should check our Firefox Live… as I use Firefox

Sorry I haven’t been around but I forgot to update my Bloglines with you new url. I was wondering why I wasn’t getting any feeds from you. Duh!

Now I know why I didn’t blogline you. When I tried it said that you don’t have feed. Am I the only one who can’t do this? Help!

Kailani – I’m glad you mentioned this because I had trouble with this right away, then thought I had it figured out. Who else has had trouble with this? My dashboard says I’m publishing a feed. And I know it’s possible, because I have subscribers. But I’m stumped, otherwise.

Ah, I just answered this over at Darren’s place – I’ve always used Bloglines, it does what I like, works great. It isn’t worth the time/hassle to learn a new program (i.e. Google’s new reader) at the moment, if I find I need something else I’ll give it a try but right now I’m very happy with Bloglines
.

Kelly, as for your feed issue, in wordpress you have to make sure you have all your feeds in your header right after your title tag in your head tag – mine looks like this for example and I hope it shows up and doesn’t make crazy html stuff as I’m taking the end parts out.
link rel=”alternate” type=”application/rss+xml” title=”RSS 2.0″ href=”http://feeds.feedburner.com/LilDuckDuck”
link rel=”alternate” type=”text/xml” title=”RSS .92″ href=”http://feeds.feedburner.com/LilDuckDuck”
link rel=”alternate” type=”application/atom+xml” title=”Atom 0.3″ href=”http://feeds.feedburner.com/LilDuckDuck”

I’m getting a blogline feed.

Thanks Pamela – yes I get a blogline feed too. So it’s there, but I think it depends upon how you try to access the subscription that works for some, and doesn’t work for others.
I’ll keep working on it;)

Okay, it’s working for me now! Yay!

I use Google Reader, my hubbie set it up for me and it’s been great!

Bloglines. My daughter maintains it for me, so all I do is click and read. This was one of the first RSS feeds around for a while, I just don’t have the time or inclination to check around and switch.

I use Sage, a plug in for Firefox. I love it!
BTW I have no idea how I found you LOL linked from another blog I’m sure, but this is my first comment.
