I’ve been reading about the mother-daughter co-authors of the book, “Come Back: A Mother and Daughter’s Journey Through Hell and Back” at 5 Minutes for Mom. An excerpt and introduction to the book was shared on Wednesday, and yesterday, Janice interviewed the co-authors. The book is their account of surviving child sexual abuse, and both posts are worth the read.

I have to be “braved up” to read books like that. There is so much horror in this world that sometimes I find myself giving serious stuff a wide berth.
I have two books sitting here by my computer that I can’t seem to find time to pick up.

Oh my goodness, Claire and Mia Fontaine asked me to review their book back in July. What a book it was!! That’s something I would never buy to read, but it was such an eye opener for me as a Mom of a daughter myself. Very scary things out there.
And Claire went to BlogHer this year and another blogger told me that her real name is not Claire Fontaine at all. I wonder what it her real name is.
