Today marks the final day in my Husband Week lovefest. Of course, this doesn’t mean I will stop referring to him, it’s just that from now on I’ll be able to call him Wayne and hyperlink to the gaggalishus love I’ve already subjected you to, rather than insisting you wade through it again
Thank you all for joining in on the festivities this week.
Wayne and I are too similar, in some ways. Whereas I’m definitely Type A, he’s Type A+, with a dash of “hurry-up.” Yeah, I know. Our poor kids.
We decided to go for a drive last weekend to see the peak-colored leaves. Since “leisurely” is not a part of our vocabulary, I thought I should prepare him for the fact that I’d really like to take some photos. And during our six-hour-long wasted day — where we accomplished virtually nothing, but drive, look and hike — my let’s go, hurry-up husband stopped the car countless times so I could take pictures like this…

and this…

and this…

He must love me.

big sigh (for the A+ personality giving you a See Day)
big covet (for the barn picture. For some reason we are always taking picture of them. I actually painted one of them that had a cat on the roof. turned out so-so)
big color (the deer and the foliage. Autumn drums)

Beautiful pix as usual Kelly!! How nice to have a relaxing day looking at nature and take picture of it with your loved ones!!

Fall is just beginning in our neck of the woods, but your pics are getting me excited about the color change…it amazes me year after year (and makes me extremely thankful to live in a climate with almost four seasons).
10:18 am
Oh, yeah, how much do I adore your use of the words “gagalishus love” (little hearts floating out of my eyes from me to you).
11:27 am
Gorgeous Fall color pics Kelly! Especially the barn one.
11:54 am
Awww, you ladies always give me a smile!
And glad you liked “gagalishus”, Robin. Seemed to fit;)
12:27 pm
I enjoyed the gagalishus too! LOL I’m so sorry to everyone who may have experienced difficulty getting to my blog yesterday. I hope we can get if fixed really soon – it’s absolutely maddening to have the server not play with me! Thanks for the support Kelly. I went and posted the link to the 12 days to the love thursday you mentioned – what a fun thing to learn about so many worthwhile blogs out there. ;o) Have a smashtastic weekend!
Hugs,

I’m glad you linked it on Love Thursday, Holly!
I’m sorry your server’s been a pain lately. I’ve noticed it sometimes when I visit your blog. I just figure I’ll come back later.
12:45 pm
Great images.
I, too, love photography. My 3-year old and 1-year old don’t. So when we go on a nature hike or a stroll in the park, I’m always left behind. The results? I have tons of pictures of their behinds!

I’m a Type A, hurry up person too, but I can slow down when it comes to being outside. I think that’s why I love camping–it’s just about the only time I can sit around and do absolutely nothing without feeling guilty.
Yep, sounds like he loves you lots. And the pictures are gorgeous.
4:08 pm
Kelly, I finally got your review up!

Gorgeous pictures. My husband is the total opposite of A+ – so I am a somewhat lucky woman who gets to take drives like this on many occasion! My favorite pic is your children in the leaves – their coloring matches perfectly with the fall colors!
1:13 pm
Love the photos! I missed the whole gaggalishus stuff, so I will be reading for a little while catching up.
It is so funny you mentioned your husband stopping to let you take photos. Mine did that just about 30 minutes ago. Can’t wait to post those photos, amybe tomorrow.
2:29 pm
Great pictures. I’m glad you actually took the time to get out there and enjoy the Fall colors. Most folks are far too busy these days. Looks like a good family time. Good job.
10:50 am
Yup, he loves you alright! :O) I think it is so sweet, your gagalicious accounts of your love, LOL! Thank you for sharing the pictures, I especially love the barn.

[...] Today is the last day of the week for me with blogging as weekends belong to my family. So it’s the last day I get to post on the topic of husband’s week. The past couple of weeks have been really crazy for my husband. His two google modules for Netflix and Traffic are more popular than he ever imagined. This is a good thing, but when he showed me the inside working of the server last night as he restarted it yet again I could see why the poor blog has been too slow to respond to requests. It’s insane how many hits for information retrieval his server takes every second. It’s also a good reminder of how like servers our lives can sometimes become. And that affects our ability to be reliable. [...]
