On Tuesday we went to under water world because C was studying fish this week. We saw sharks, stingrays, puffer fish, saw fish, turtles, piranha fish, catfish and many more fish. We even saw two fish feedings. We went through clear tunnels and saw the fish through them. The tunnel was natural to the fish because they assumed it was the ground, because ground is uneven. After that we went to Ikea and shopped for at least an hour before going home. It was a great day.
Wednesday was just a normal day. For journal we wrote about Under Water World. Otherwise, it was perfectly normal.
Thursday was a normal day… kind of. I finished my first book of Sonlight curriculum. I was studying the human body, so we made a model of human backbones using pipe cleaners, noodles and lifesavers.
We also went to the fire station and a fire fighter told a group of home schoolers about everything that was there. Then we sat in all the fire trucks. After that we played a very good game with a family of home schoolers. We were having so much fun, we never made it to town to run our errands.
Today we were inviting friends over so we did only the main stuff. First we did journal, then had a math test. After lunch we folded cloths until our friends got here.
My favorite thing about this week was the car mat. C and I will have fun on that. I liked helping C memorize the continents and a few states. We found Mount Kilamnjaro, St. Augustine, the Great Wall of China and many more things on the world map. We played and index card game and made up a few games too. I hope we continue art class and have a little bit of geography every week.
Today was just like yesterday. We love our car mat and we are playing on it even though it’s not done. My favorite thing about today was the car mat, playtime (Everybody’s favorite…) and geography. My least favorite thing was recess. (I learned something in math.)
****D’S GUEST POST****
I have decided about once per week I will be doing book reviews instead of a paragraph about how my day went. They will be short, brief summaries of books I’ve read and want to put on the blog. The books will be different every time I write. I will grade books from 1 star to five star grading points. I will tell you the number of points in the opinion paragraph. (The last one.)

Today has been very normal. We had noodles for lunch and found a new button on the running machine (Ha ha!). My favorite thing about today is that we worked on our car mat and the game we played for geography. (Mom has probably told you all about that!!) My least favorite thing about today was math. I did, in my opinion, second grade work. Very boring for a fourth grader. (No offense mom…)
